How I operate

Each copywriting project has a number of stages which involve the client directly.

Here’s how we would work together on a typical project:

1 Once you’ve told me the scope of your project, I will provide you with a written quote for the job. At this point, I send you my terms and conditions.
2 I will then devise a list of questions I’ll want to ask you at the briefing meeting and will email these to you a few days before the meeting.
3 Face-to-face briefing with you takes place.
4 If your project is a brochure, I’ll often devise an outline structure to make sure you agree with which subject areas go on which page.

5 I’ll send you the first draft and we’ll then go through your comments (either face to face or by phone, whichever you prefer). My quote includes two sets of copy edits, so you can make further changes to this second draft.

6 If I am hired by a design agency or other third party, I like to be considered part of the team and will always want to talk to the client direct.
Carole has an incredible talent for taking the
trickiest, 'muddiest' briefs…”
